Frequently asked questions

  1. How do you place an order?

Stockmonkey ltd is an internet base company; therefore we can only take orders over the website.

  1. How do we make payments?

Payments have to be made on line using our secure payment process; we accept all major credit cards and Pay Pal.

  1. What happens once we pay?

Once you have placed your order, and made the secure payment, you will receive an automated acknowledgement confirming everything, and at this stage the stock is allocated to you.

  1. What if you run out of stock?

The stock you see on site is “live stock” which is warehoused in our premises; the website will not allow you to place an order if there is insufficient stock to fulfil your order.

  1. Do you deliver?

Delivery can be arranged to anywhere in the UK, please contact us prior to ordering to obtain a cost, and delivery time

  1. How long do I have to collect?

We will hold the stock for 6 weeks free of charge, from the date it was ordered, if it is not collected before this deadline the order will be cancelled and put back up for sale, a 50% handling charge will occur and the balance returned to you.

  1. Can I cancel the order?

Yes you will have a seven days (from the order date) to cancel an order that has not been collected, with a full refund.

  1. Can I return faulty goods?

You will have seven days (from collection date) to return any faulty goods provided they have not been worked on and are in the same condition as when collected, you can ask for an exchange, or full refund.

  1. Do you have showroom?

We do not operate a showroom facility at present; however you are welcome to visit the warehouse and inspect the stock at a convenient time.

  1. Do you buy stock?

Yes we do, there is a link on the website to submit your stock for approval, we would want to know the quantity, sizes and the amount you would like per item, along with photographs, and we will then appraise the stock and let you know if it is saleable

  1. Is the stock all ends of lines?

No, there is a large offering of stock models that will be available on a regular basis, this is clearly marked out on the website but again can only be purchased once in stock

  1. Do you take orders?

No, although we do not take specific orders we are prepared to stock popular models on demand, please speak to the sales team, or send us a picture and request via the website and we will do our upmost to accommodate you.

  1. What stock levels do you hold?

We aim to stock between 7-8000 chair frames alone at any one time; these will be monitored on a daily basis and topped up to supply demand.

  1. Do you supply finished products?

We can finish all products, or polish only, the price depends on model and fabric, please enquire about costs

  1. Do you have a minimum order policy?

No, you can buy 1 or a 100 items at a time

  1. Do you offer discounts for large orders?

No, because we offer the 6 weeks warehouse scheme FOC, anyone with a large order can secure their stock without having to take up expensive space in their factory.

  1. If we place a large order when do we have to collect?

If you place a large order you can collect as soon as it is picked, alternatively you can call off items when you need them within the 6 weeks period, this gives you piece of mind that the items are allocated to you and taken off sale immediately.
